Hazardous Waste Compliance Reporting Requirments - 1/28/2008 |
 The beginning of the year is a good time to review your company’s New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection (NJDEP) Compliance Reporting Requirements for hazardous materials. Two dates are important. March 1st is the due date for the NJ Community Right to Know (CRTK) Survey and the Hazardous Waste Generators Report. On July 1st the Toxic Release Inventory (TRI) and NJ Release and Pollution Prevention Reports (RPPP) are due. |

Child Care Facilty Grants Available - 1/17/2008 |
 At last the Hazardous Discharge Site Remediation Fund Child Care Facility Environmental Grants Application is available! In November 2007, legislation provided for reimbursement grants up to a maximum of $1,500 to owners or prospective owners of a child care center to defray the cost of the new Department of Children and Families requirement of obtaining a No Further Action (NFA) letter from the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection (NJDEP) prior to obtaining license renewal or new licensure. |
